Air Sial, Pakistan’s third private airline, has received official approval from the Federal Cabinet to expand its flight operations to seven additional international destinations. This decision, which is in accordance with the National Aviation Policy 2023 and the Air Services Agreement, follows a recommendation put forth by the Ministry of Aviation.
The announcement of this approval was made by the Prime Minister’s Office, marking a significant milestone for Air Sial’s growth and development. With the approval granted, Air Sial is now permitted to initiate flight services to China, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, the UK, and Kuwait.
This expansion of Air Sial’s international routes comes as a result of its successful initiation of domestic flights within Pakistan in December 2020. Furthermore, the airline recently marked a milestone with its inaugural international flight from Jeddah in March 2023, signifying its commitment to expanding its operations beyond Pakistan’s borders.
By venturing into these new international markets, Air Sial aims to enhance connectivity and provide greater travel options for passengers, while also contributing to the growth and development of Pakistan’s aviation industry. This strategic move aligns with the airline’s vision to become a leading player in the global aviation sector, offering quality services and fostering economic opportunities for the country.
