The Meteorological Department has forecasted rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms in Karachi and other districts of Sindh starting from June 26 until July 1.
This weather pattern is influenced by monsoon winds from the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal, coupled with a low-pressure system over southern Indian Gujarat. Anticipated areas to receive rainfall include Karachi, Mithi, Umarkot, and surrounding regions.
In Balochistan, districts like Lasbella and Khuzdar are also expected to experience rain between June 26 and 28. Additionally, strong winds are likely to bring cooler temperatures, offering some relief from the prevailing heat. The sea breeze in Karachi is predicted to return by Wednesday evening, gradually bringing down temperatures across the city.
