Rashid Khan Becomes Fastest Bowler to Take 150 T201 Wickets

During the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan made history by becoming the fastest bowler to reach 150 T20I wickets, achieving this remarkable feat in just 92 matches.

This surpasses New Zealand’s Tim Southee, who achieved the milestone in 118 matches. Meanwhile, Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan is close to reaching the same milestone, needing just one more wicket.

Afghanistan celebrated a double victory as they advanced to the T20 World Cup semi-finals for the first time after defeating Bangladesh. Rashid Khan played a pivotal role in this success with an impressive performance, taking 4 wickets for 23 runs.

In the upcoming semi-finals on June 27, Afghanistan will face South Africa, while England will play against India in what promises to be an exciting showdown.
