Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Announces Jobs Vacancies in Pakistan.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Pakistan has announced a job opening for the prestigious position of Director General (DG) PCAA.

Position Announced:

Director General (DG) PCAA

The position is open to candidates from three distinct backgrounds: the service of Pakistan, the service of Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA), and the private sector. Each category has specific requirements:

Educational Qualification:

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a university or institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission.

Experience:

  • A total of 25 years in management and administration.
  • Three years of experience as the head of an administrative department of a Provincial Government, an attached department, or Division of the Federal Government, or a regulatory authority under these Governments.
  • Three years of experience in the enforcement of regulatory, local, or special laws.
  • Three years of experience in public procurement or direct supervision of public procurement.
  • The candidate must be serving in Basic Pay Scale 21 or equivalent, or above in the service of Pakistan.

Age Limit:

  • The maximum age on the date of assumption of charge should be 57 years.

2. Candidates from the Service of Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority:

Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a university or institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission.

Experience:

  • A total of 25 years as an officer of the PCAA.
  • Three years of experience in public procurement or direct supervision of public procurement.
  • The candidate must be serving as a regular Deputy Director General, equivalent or above in the PCAA.

Age Limit:

  • The maximum age on the date of assumption of charge should be 57 years.

3. Candidates from the Private Sector:

Educational Qualification:

A Master’s degree or equivalent from a university or institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission.

Experience:

  • Ten years of experience in civil aviation or regulatory enforcement.
  • At least five years of experience in senior management positions in the public or private sector.

Age Limit:

  • The maximum age on the date of assumption of charge should be 57 years.

Terms and Conditions:

The appointing authority will determine the salary, allowances, and other terms and conditions of service for the Director General PCAA, including key performance indicators for effective duty discharge. The selected candidate will be appointed for a term of three years.
