Big Drop in Prices of Ghee, Cooking Oil, & 800+ Items at Utility Stores

In a move that brings much-needed relief to consumers grappling with inflation, the Utility Stores Corporation has announced a substantial cut in the prices of over 800 essential items. This price reduction, which affects a wide range of products, includes popular household staples such as ghee, cooking oil, tea, and detergent.

The new prices reflect reductions of up to 10 percent, with some items seeing price drops of up to 200 rupees.

This price cut affects various brands and includes items like noodles, ketchup, tetra-pack milk, powdered milk, spices, pickles, soap, and toothpaste. The revised prices have been put into effect immediately across all Utility Stores, making these essential products more affordable for consumers.

While the Benazir Income Support Program’s subsidy is currently on hold, there are plans to reintroduce it soon under a new framework. This program aims to provide further financial relief to those in need, complementing the recent price cuts.

In a related update, the joint session of Parliament has been postponed to next week. During this period, the management of Utility Stores Corporation has pledged to enhance its services and maintain a steady supply of quality products at the newly reduced prices.

Consumers can now shop at Utility Stores with greater ease and benefit from the new, lower prices. The administration has also indicated that additional price reductions for other items are on the horizon, promising further relief in the near future.
