Health Department Open Jobs Vacancies in Pakistan

The Health Department of Gilgit-Baltistan has announced job vacancies for its Mental Health Care initiatives in three divisions of the region. These positions are open for candidates with relevant qualifications and experience who hold a domicile of Gilgit-Baltistan. The vacancies are offered under the Project Pay Scale (PPS) for a period of two years.

Available Positions and Requirements

The Health Department is seeking eligible candidates for the following positions:

  1. Clinical Psychologist (PPS-07)
  • Qualifications: BS/MS in Psychology, Diploma in Clinical Psychology
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience
  • Locations: RHQ Hospital Skardu, Psychiatry Hospital Gilgit, RHQ Hospital Chilas, DHQ Hospital Ghakuch
  • Number of Posts: 4
  • Fixed Pay: Rs. 90,000 per month
  1. Psychotherapist (PPS-07)
  • Qualifications: BS/MS in Psychology
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience working with mentally ill patients
  • Locations: RHQ Hospital Skardu, Psychiatry Hospital Gilgit
  • Number of Posts: 2
  • Fixed Pay: Rs. 90,000 per month
  1. Nurse (PPS-06)
  • Qualifications: BSc Nursing from a recognized institute
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in patient care; experience in a mental health facility is preferred
  • Locations: RHQ Hospital Skardu, Psychiatry Hospital Gilgit
  • Number of Posts: 2
  • Fixed Pay: Rs. 60,000 per month

Terms and Conditions for Applicants

  1. Contract Basis: The appointment is strictly on a contract basis for the duration of the project. It can be terminated at any time depending on the candidate’s performance.
  2. Application Deadline: Interested candidates are required to submit their applications along with relevant documents to the office of the Secretary Health Gilgit-Baltistan in Gilgit within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication, which is until October 7, 2024.

  4. No Travel Allowance: No TA/DA will be provided to candidates for attending interviews.
