Five armed robbers allegedly looted Rs8 million, or Rs80 lakh, from a foreign national at a private residence in Islamabad’s G-10 sector on September 24, 2026. Police have registered a case and started an investigation.
According to the FIR, the suspects entered the house and held the foreign national hostage at gunpoint. A security guard, cook and translator at the residence were also held during the robbery. One of the five suspects was reportedly wearing a police uniform.
The suspects reportedly stayed inside the house for around 90 minutes. During this time, they searched the property and took Rs8 million in cash along with other valuables before leaving the area.
Police have collected evidence from the scene and are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the suspects. Officials have also started raids at different locations as part of efforts to arrest those involved.
The case has been registered against unidentified suspects. Further details about the victim and the total value of the other stolen items have not been publicly disclosed.
