Children With Down Syndrome Become Chief Minister of Sindh for a Day

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah recently welcomed 22 children from the Karachi Down Syndrome Programme (KDSP) to the historic CM House, a building over a century old. The event was organized to bring joy and inspiration to the children and was attended by KDSP CEO Tabish Shehzad.

The Chief Minister greeted the children warmly, engaging with them in cheerful conversations and making them feel special. As part of the visit, he invited each child to sit in his chair, encouraging them to dream big and believe in their potential.

One of the highlights of the day was when a confident young girl named Dua was given the opportunity to take charge as the “CM of the Day.” Sitting at the head of the table, she led a mock meeting, filling the room with enthusiasm and pride.

The visit concluded with gifts, group photos, and an atmosphere full of smiles. It was a heartwarming day that left the children with unforgettable memories and reinforced the message of inclusion and empowerment.
