K2 Airways Receives Air Operator Certificate, Set to Launch Cargo Operations

KARACHI K2 Airways, Pakistan’s newest cargo carrier, has secured its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority, marking a significant milestone in the country’s aviation sector.

The certification, Granted earlier this week, follows a comprehensive evaluation of the airline’s operational systems, afety procedures, and professional team capabilities. This development positions K2 Airways to address Pakistan’s cargo transportation needs

This AOC certification brings K2 Airways closer to transforming Pakistan’s air cargo sector, said Tariq Raja, CEO of K2 Airways. “We appreciate the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority’s to begin operations and provide reliable cargo services connecting Pakistani businesses to facilitating role and the immense guidance it provided us in the entire process. The airline will commence operations with Boeing 737-400SF aircraft on the Karachi-Lahore route. Future plans include fleet expansion and implementation of advanced technology to enhance cargo operations across Pakistan.

K2 Airways’ has already planned the expansion of its fleet and network, which is expectec to generate significant employment opportunities in the aviation sector while meeting the growing cargo demands, contributing to the country’s economic development.
