Pakistan Offers 4,500 Scholarships to Afghan Students

Pakistan has launched an important initiative by offering 4,500 fully funded scholarships to Afghan students. This was announced by Mohammad Sadiq, Pakistan’s Special Representative for Afghanistan. The program shows Pakistan’s commitment to supporting regional development and advancing education in Afghanistan.

The scholarships will help Afghan students pursue higher education in various fields. The Allama Muhammad Iqbal Scholarships Program will cover undergraduate, master’s, and PhD studies for the next three years.

The fields of study include medicine, engineering, agriculture, and advanced research. The goal is to give Afghan youth the education they need to play a role in rebuilding their country.

The scholarship program will use a merit-based selection process to ensure fairness. It also promotes gender equality by reserving 33% of the scholarships for female students.

This initiative is not only about providing education but also fostering cooperation between Pakistan and Afghanistan. By investing in Afghan students, Pakistan is helping create a stronger and more stable region in the future.

This scholarship program is a step towards building long-term relationships and supporting the growth of Afghanistan. By providing Afghan students with access to education, Pakistan is contributing to their skills development and empowering them to bring positive change to their country.
