An Indian citizen has praised Lahore’s road infrastructure in a video shared on social media, drawing attention to the city’s modern roads and urban development.
Sandeep Pathak shared a video on X showing different parts of Lahore and described the city as “Modern Roads, Modern Lahore.” In the video, he said Lahore’s road infrastructure appeared better than the roads in 90% of Indian cities. He also compared Lahore’s roads with those in Uttar Pradesh, saying the difference was noticeable.
Pathak’s comments have attracted attention online, particularly because comparisons between infrastructure in Pakistani and Indian cities often generate discussion on social media. His remarks were based on his personal observation of Lahore and do not represent an official ranking or independent assessment of road quality.
Lahore has several major road projects and routes, including Canal Road, Ferozepur Road and the Lahore Ring Road, which connect important parts of the city. At the same time, the city continues to face challenges such as traffic congestion, air pollution and road safety.
The video has renewed discussion about Lahore’s changing urban infrastructure and how visitors from neighbouring countries view the city.
