President Zardari Visits Lisbon to Pay Tribute to Late Aga Khan IV

President Asif Ali Zardari visited Lisbon, Portugal, to meet Prince Rahim Aga Khan and express his condolences on the passing of his father, Prince Karim Aga Khan.

During the meeting, President Zardari conveyed his deep sympathies on behalf of the people of Pakistan. He described the late Aga Khan as a “true friend of Pakistan” and a “great humanitarian” whose efforts had a lasting impact on the country’s development. Zardari praised his contributions in various fields, including education, healthcare, and economic progress, calling him a visionary leader dedicated to improving lives.

The president also shared that he was in China when he received the news of Aga Khan IV’s passing. He felt it was important to personally visit Lisbon to pay tribute to a leader who had played such a vital role in Pakistan’s social and economic growth.

Zardari expressed his hope that Prince Rahim Aga Khan would continue his father’s legacy of service and humanitarian work, ensuring that his vision of progress and development remains alive.
