Sixteen Pakistani officials, including members of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), police, and the airport medical team, are being recognized for their exceptional care of an American citizen, Onijah Andrew, during her visit to Pakistan last month.
Onijah traveled to Pakistan to marry a man she met on social media. During her stay, she received outstanding support from these officials, who went above and beyond to assist her.
In appreciation of their efforts, the U.S. Consulate in Karachi will honor them at a special recognition ceremony on February 18. This event highlights the strong cooperation between Pakistan and the United States and acknowledges the dedication of these officials in assisting foreign visitors.
