Gold Price in Pakistan Falls for Fifth Day in a Row

Gold prices in Pakistan have been on a steady decline for the past five days, with the latest drop recorded on Saturday. The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs. 500, bringing it down to Rs. 300,000 from the previous rate of Rs. 300,500.

This downward trend began earlier in the week when gold was priced at Rs. 309,500 per tola. Since then, the market has seen a total decrease of Rs. 9,500 per tola.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs. 438, settling at Rs. 257,201. Meanwhile, 22-karat gold now costs Rs. 235,776 per 10 grams, down by Rs. 393.

The silver market also witnessed fluctuations. While the price of silver per tola decreased by Rs. 10 to Rs. 3,240, the rate for 10 grams of silver slightly increased by Rs. 9 to Rs. 2,777.

On the global front, gold prices slipped by $6, with the international rate now standing at $2,857 per ounce. Silver also saw a decline of $0.9, reaching $31.05 per ounce.

Market analysts suggest that this consistent drop in gold prices could be influenced by global trends and local economic factors. Investors and jewelers are closely monitoring the situation as gold remains a key asset in Pakistan’s financial landscape.
