The Sindh government has introduced a new job portal to help people find employment in both the government and private sectors. This platform will feature job listings from various organizations, making it easier for job seekers to connect with potential employers.
The launch event was attended by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Senior Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, as well as business community leaders and other key figures.
During the event, Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon emphasized that 65% of Pakistan’s population consists of young people, and this job portal is designed to support their employment needs. He explained that the platform welcomes both educated individuals and skilled workers, allowing them to upload their CVs and explore job opportunities that match their qualifications.
The job portal is not just limited to government positions. It also provides connections to private sector employers, increasing the chances of job seekers finding suitable roles. Many young people in Pakistan aim for government jobs, but the minister pointed out that other opportunities exist as well. For example, large-scale projects like the People’s Housing Scheme are creating demand for skilled labor, offering additional employment options.
This initiative aims to make job searching more convenient and efficient, reducing the gap between employers and job seekers. By providing easy access to job listings from various sectors, the Sindh government hopes to reduce unemployment and support economic growth.
The government encourages job seekers to take advantage of this platform by registering and submitting their resumes. Employers are also expected to benefit by finding the right candidates for their vacancies. This job portal is a step towards improving employment opportunities in Sindh, ensuring a brighter future for the province’s workforce.
