PCB Denies Resignation of Chairman Mohsin Naqvi Amid Rumors

PCB has denied all rumors about Chairman Mohsin Naqvi stepping down from his position. The confusion began after Naqvi was elected as the new President of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), which led some people to assume he might leave his current role at the PCB.

Adding to the speculation, former cricketer Kamran Akmal publicly criticized the national team’s poor performance. He suggested that if Naqvi couldn’t bring improvements, he should consider resigning. This statement fueled the rumors even more, making fans and media question whether Naqvi would stay on as PCB Chairman.

To clear things up, PCB officials made a formal statement. They confirmed that Mohsin Naqvi has not resigned and is still actively working as the Chairman. They also mentioned that Naqvi is committed to his responsibilities and will continue leading the board.

The PCB emphasized that just because Naqvi has taken on a new role at the ACC doesn’t mean he is stepping back from his duties in Pakistan. Instead, they believe his new position will help improve cricket relations in the region and bring more attention to Pakistan’s cricketing efforts.

In short, Naqvi is staying in his position and is focused on making the national team stronger. The PCB urged fans not to believe in rumors and said that any major announcements would come directly from them.

This clarification comes at a time when the national team is under pressure to perform better, and the board is working hard to rebuild public trust. For now, Mohsin Naqvi remains the man in charge, and he’s not going anywhere.
