The Pakistan Broadcasters Association (PBA) has decided to stop playing Indian songs on FM radio stations across Pakistan. This decision was made because of the growing tensions between Pakistan and India, especially after recent events in the region of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has supported the move. They called it a “principled and patriotic gesture” that shows the country’s unity and strong national spirit. Information Minister Attaullah Tarar also praised the PBA for its decision. He said that this action reflects the Pakistani people’s loyalty and commitment to their country’s values during these difficult times.
This ban on Indian music is part of a larger effort to show national solidarity and send a clear message of support for Kashmir and Pakistan’s stance in the ongoing conflict.
