Islamabad’s first state-of-the-art Information Technology Park is all set to be officially inaugurated on August 14. This modern facility has been specially designed to support the growing needs of Pakistan’s tech industry, including startups, freelancers, and companies that focus on IT exports. The park will provide cutting-edge infrastructure, such as advanced office spaces, incubation centers for new businesses, and a high-standard Tier III data center to ensure secure and reliable services.
Spread over an area of more than 66,000 square meters, the IT Park will feature around 120 fully equipped offices. It will also include a dedicated startup incubation zone to help young entrepreneurs launch their businesses successfully. In addition, there will be a business support center to assist companies with management and growth, along with a collaboration hub where industry leaders and academic institutions can work together to strengthen the country’s IT ecosystem.
The Islamabad IT Park is just one part of a broader strategy to boost Pakistan’s technology sector. Another major IT park is also being planned near Karachi airport. Together, these projects aim to greatly improve the country’s infrastructure, encourage innovation, create new job opportunities, and increase the export of IT services from Pakistan to international markets.
The launch of such modern facilities marks a major milestone for the country’s digital economy, setting the stage for greater technological advancement and economic growth in the coming years.
