Kia Pakistan has brought back the Stonic EX variant at a new, lower price of Rs. 4,767,000. This is the same price at which the higher EX+ variant was briefly available after a big price cut earlier this year.
The Stonic EX was previously discontinued, and the EX+ did not perform well in the market due to its high original price of Rs. 6.28 million. Sales were slow, and customers were hesitant to buy.
However, when Kia reduced the price of the EX+ by Rs. 1.5 million, interest picked up. Unfortunately, the company later raised the price of the EX+ again to Rs. 5.5 million, which reduced consumer interest once more.
Now, with the return of the EX variant at a competitive price, Kia seems to be making a smart move to attract more customers. This new pricing could help the company regain its position in the compact crossover market, where it faces tough competition from other popular models like the Suzuki Swift.
The Stonic is known for its stylish design, good features, and compact size, making it suitable for urban driving. By offering it at a more affordable rate, Kia hopes to appeal to buyers who want a quality vehicle without spending too much.
This move also reflects the company’s awareness of the challenges in Pakistan’s auto market, including rising costs and changing consumer preferences. It remains to be seen how the market responds, but the new price tag could make the Stonic EX a popular choice once again.
