Pakistan has revised petroleum prices, with petrol becoming more expensive while high-speed diesel (HSD) has received a slight reduction.
Under the revised rates, the price of petrol has increased by Rs. 4.61 per litre, rising from Rs. 389.14 to Rs. 393.75 per litre. In contrast, the price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs. 1.96 per litre, bringing it down from Rs. 424.04 to Rs. 422.08 per litre.
The revised petroleum prices will come into effect from September 22, 2026, and will remain applicable for the new pricing period.
The latest adjustment is expected to affect transportation and fuel costs across the country, particularly for motorists and businesses that rely heavily on petrol and diesel for daily operations.
