A strong earthquake shook Lahore and several other areas of Pakistan on Sunday, causing panic among residents. People rushed out of their homes and buildings as the tremors were felt in cities across Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and parts of Balochistan.
According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake had a magnitude of around 5.5 and originated near the border of Balochistan and Punjab. The depth and epicenter details are still being confirmed by officials.
No major damage or injuries have been reported so far but local authorities have begun inspections in affected areas to ensure safety.
