Pakistan’s girls netball team made the country proud by winning the final of the Asian Youth Netball Championship 2025 in Jeonju, South Korea. They defeated Maldives with a solid 60-35 score, ending the tournament without losing a single match.
Earlier in the semifinals, Pakistan overpowered Japan 64-39, showing consistency and skill throughout the competition. Star players like Leya Raza Shah, Alisha Naveed, and Sumayya Kouser were key in the team’s success.
The tournament featured 11 strong teams from all across Asia. Pakistan’s win shows how far the country has come in promoting girls’ participation in sports.
Officials Mudassir Arian, Sameen Malik, and Muhammad Riaz praised the players for their outstanding teamwork and dedication, saying this victory will inspire more young girls to step into the world of sports.
