Iran Air is starting new direct passenger and cargo flights from Quetta to Zahidan and Mashhad, which will help improve trade and travel between Pakistan and Iran.
These flights will run every week and are expected to save both time and money for people who travel or do business across the border. The new air route is being seen as an important step to make economic ties between the two neighboring countries even stronger.
The announcement was made by Ali Reza Rajai, who is Iran’s acting consul general, during an event hosted by the Pak-Iran Joint Chamber of Commerce. The event was attended by many important people, including Iran Air Chief Agha Karimi and other top airline officials.
While speaking at the event, Rajai highlighted how important it is to make trade easier between Pakistan and Iran. He said that better port connections between Gwadar in Pakistan and Chabahar in Iran will help traders do business faster and at a lower cost.
He also suggested that visa processes should be made simpler for people who want to travel between the two countries. Lower airfares would also help more traders and travelers use this new service.
The launch of these direct flights is expected to bring more opportunities for businesses and also make it easier for families and tourists to visit each other. Many hope that this will open the door for more joint projects in the future, building a stronger relationship between the people of Pakistan and Iran.
