Pakistan Army Rescues Flood-Hit People via Helicopter in Jhelum

The Pakistan Army has rescued more than 20 people who were trapped in flood-affected parts of Jhelum, Punjab. Heavy rains recently caused strong floods that hit many villages and left people stuck with no way to leave on their own.

To help, the army started an emergency rescue mission using helicopters. These helicopters flew over flooded areas and pulled people to safety. One of the most badly hit areas is Darapur, where helicopters have been dropping life jackets and giving out emergency aid.

Thanks to the quick action of the army, many lives have been saved, even though the water level keeps rising every hour. People in these villages are very thankful for the rescue teams who are risking their lives to help others in need.

However, the situation is still serious. Dozens of people are still stranded in different areas because the roads are under water and blocked. Many families have also lost their animals, which were a big source of income for them. Nearby villages like Nikka Khlaspur and Rajaroad have also been hit hard.

Because roads are still flooded and blocked, air rescue is the only way to reach people quickly. The army’s helicopters will keep flying over the area to bring help and take more people to safer places.

Local officials have asked people to stay alert and follow safety advice until the flooding ends. Rescue teams will keep working until everyone is safe and basic needs like food and medicine reach those who need them most.
