Only 23,620 Pilgrims Allowed Under Private Hajj Scheme 2025: Ministry of Religious Affairs

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that only 23,620 people will be able to perform Haj under Pakistan’s private Haj scheme in 2025. This is very low compared to Pakistan’s total Haj quota of 179,210 pilgrims for next year.

Because of this decision, more than 67,000 people who applied through private Haj operators are now left waiting and uncertain about their plans. Many people had already started preparing for the journey and are now worried about what will happen next.

The ministry has shared that the updated lists of approved private Haj service providers are available on their official website and the Pak Hajj App. Pilgrims have been asked to check these lists and confirm the status of their applications as soon as possible.

They have also reminded people that all Haj visas must be issued by April 18, so applicants should make sure their paperwork is complete in time.

To help pilgrims, temporary Haj camps will be set up in selected cities across the country. These camps will guide people about their travel, documents, and other Haj-related matters.

Meanwhile, the Senate Committee has requested the Prime Minister to look into this issue. They have asked him to talk to Saudi authorities to get Pakistan’s private Haj quota increased, so that more people can perform Haj through private schemes.

For now, pilgrims are advised to stay updated by following official announcements and checking the Ministry’s website and Haj app for any new information.
