Pakistani Applicants Frustrated Over Delay in Visa Approval List From Turkiye Embassy in Islamabad

For many Pakistanis, Turkey has always been a popular choice for study, work, tourism, and visiting family. But this year, the process of getting a Turkish visa has become a long and frustrating wait. Thousands of applicants are still waiting for their approval lists, with no clear timeline in sight.

Families have been forced to delay important trips. Students are worried they might miss their university admission dates. Job seekers fear they will lose valuable opportunities. Tourists, too, are stuck in uncertainty, unable to finalize their travel plans.

It has now been more than a month since many Pakistanis submitted their visa applications, but the approval list has not been made public.

Even those who have received approval are facing problems, as the Turkish Embassy in Pakistan has not shared the confirmed list with Anatolia, the official service provider that handles visa applications.

This lack of communication has left hundreds of people stressed and confused. Applicants say they feel ignored because there have been no clear updates, and no one knows when the decisions will finally be announced.

The delay is not just about waiting. It has real consequences for people’s lives. Missed deadlines mean lost chances for education and employment. Families are forced to cancel or postpone trips they had planned for months. Tourists lose money as their schedules fall apart.

Many applicants are now openly questioning the efficiency and transparency of the Turkish visa system in Pakistan. For them, this silence is not just inconvenient—it is damaging their future plans and creating unnecessary anxiety.
