Meta is preparing to introduce the next step in wearable technology. At the upcoming Meta Connect event, the company is expected to reveal its latest innovation — a pair of smart glasses with built-in displays, along with a completely new type of wristband.
This special wristband is designed to work using EMG technology, which means it can pick up tiny signals from the muscles in your wrist and fingers. With this feature, users may be able to control their smart glasses simply by moving their hands or making small gestures, instead of touching a screen or pressing buttons.
The project is currently known by the code name Hypernova, and it has the potential to change the way people use technology in their daily lives. If it works as planned, these glasses and the wristband could reduce the need for smartphones in many situations. Instead of constantly looking at a phone screen, people could interact with devices in a faster, easier, and more natural way.
This could mark the beginning of a new era where communication, information access, and device control become almost completely hands-free and screen-free.
