“I’ve Done Nothing Wrong, Never Apologised to the Indian Cricket Board, Nor Will I Ever”, Mohsin Naqvi

Recently, the Indian media has started spreading false information and fabricating stories that are not based on truth. Mohsin Naqvi himself has come forward to clear the air stating that I’ve done nothing wrong, I’ve never apologized to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), and I have no plans to do so.

These stories are nothing more than propaganda, aimed at misleading viewers and readers while bringing politics into the center of cricket, a game that should inspire and bring people together.

Watching such damaging images of cricket is truly depressing. It is an attack that affects the players as well as cricket fans. As the President of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), I’ve been clear from the start that I was ready to hand over the trophy on the scheduled day and that offer still stands. If the BCCI truly wants it, they can pick it up from the ACC office at any time.

This is about avoiding unnecessary drama in cricket, not about power struggles or internal conflicts. The players, the supporters, and the game that we all love should be the main focus, not already heated issues that only serve to further the division between the two nations.

We, like everyone, should put behind this drama and return to appreciating cricket for what it gives us. It should be a game that unites people rather than promotes political agendas.
