Apple’s newly launched iPhone 18 Pro is facing online attention following reports from some users about display lines and Face ID-related problems.
Images of green lines have circulated on social media, although some of the pictures appear to be edited or misleading.
However, at least one reported case of a display line appears to be genuine, adding to concerns among early buyers.
Separately, multiple users have reported problems with Face ID. In some cases, Face ID reportedly stops working while users are trying to unlock certain apps, with the device becoming unresponsive before freezing and restarting.
Others have encountered a “Face ID not available” message while setting up the feature on their devices.
The reported issues do not appear to affect every iPhone 18 Pro user, and there is currently no indication that they are widespread across all devices.
Some of the Face ID problems could potentially be related to software, meaning a future iOS update may resolve them.
Apple has not indicated that the reported issues affect the overall reliability of the device, and users experiencing problems may need to wait for further software updates or official guidance.
