Pakistan Stands by ‘Pre-1967’ Borders for Palestine, PM Shehbaz Sharif

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has once again expressed Pakistan’s firm and long-standing support for the people of Palestine, reaffirming the country’s position on a two-state solution based on pre-1967 borders.

He said that Pakistan continues to stand with the Palestinians in their struggle for peace, justice, and independence.

Speaking about the issue, the Prime Minister emphasized that Pakistan’s stance has always remained clear the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif (Jerusalem) as its capital is essential for lasting peace in the Middle East.

He said that no solution can bring real stability to the region unless the fundamental rights of the Palestinian people are respected and restored.

Shehbaz Sharif also reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to raising its voice for Palestine at every international platform, including the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

He said Pakistan will continue to support diplomatic, humanitarian, and moral efforts that contribute to peace and protect innocent civilians affected by the ongoing conflict.

The Prime Minister paid tribute to the resilience and courage of the Palestinian people who have endured decades of hardship and injustice.

He urged the global community to play a more active role in stopping violence and ensuring the implementation of international resolutions that recognize Palestine’s right to self-determination.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s brotherly ties with Palestine, Shehbaz Sharif said the country will never abandon its moral and diplomatic duty until a fair and lasting peace is achieved.
