The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has dispatched a high-level contingent to Azerbaijan to participate in the multinational air exercise “Indus Shield Alpha.”
The delegation includes the country’s pride, the state-of-the-art JF-17 Thunder Block III fighter jets, representing Pakistan’s cutting-edge aviation technology and growing defense cooperation in the region.
The aircraft completed a non-stop flight from Pakistan to Azerbaijan, successfully executing in-flight refueling operations en route. This milestone demonstrates PAF’s expanding operational reach, aerial endurance, and precision in long-range missions.
The exercise aims to strengthen tactical coordination, joint combat readiness, and air defense collaboration among participating nations.
According to PAF officials, “Indus Shield Alpha” provides a valuable opportunity for pilots and crew to engage in real-time simulated combat scenarios, enhancing interoperability and the exchange of advanced aerial warfare techniques.
