Pakistan’s snooker player Asjad Iqbal produced an outstanding display in Muscat as he defeated India’s famous cueist Pankaj Advani by 4–0. With this strong win, Asjad successfully booked his place in the semi-finals of the IBSF Snooker World Cup.

The match took place at the Active Oman Sports and Entertainment Hub, where Asjad looked confident and in complete control from the very first shot. His performance was sharp, focused, and full of energy, leaving his opponent with very few chances to recover throughout the game.

Asjad started the quarter-final in a brilliant manner. In the opening frame, he made an impressive 81 break, finishing the frame 100–0. This powerful start immediately put pressure on Advani, who is known for his experience and strong track record in the sport. However, Asjad kept up the momentum and continued to dominate the table.

In the second frame, Asjad maintained his rhythm and secured another comfortable win with a score of 92–37, showing great skill and accuracy. His potting, safety shots, and overall cue control remained consistent, making it difficult for Advani to find any opportunity to turn the match around.
