Pakistan Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu has said that PAF continues to stand as the country’s most reliable line of defense, proving its strength and preparedness in every major challenge.
He made these remarks while addressing the graduation parade at PAF Academy Risalpur, where newly trained officers received their commissions.
The Air Chief highlighted the recent events of Operation Banyan-um-Marsūs, calling it a clear example of the PAF’s high-level professionalism. He explained that during the May encounters, PAF fighter jets reacted within seconds and carried out a highly accurate response.
According to him, the force successfully shot down advanced enemy aircraft and disabled their defense systems in a very short time, showing the world the capability and discipline of Pakistan’s airmen.
He told the graduating cadets that the PAF’s success comes from its constant training, modern technology, and strong commitment to national security.
He reminded them that every pilot and officer plays an essential role in protecting Pakistan’s airspace. The Air Chief encouraged them to maintain the same level of readiness and dedication demonstrated by their seniors during recent operations.
Marshal Sidhu also said that Pakistan’s air defense is stronger than ever, thanks to ongoing upgrades in aircraft, radar systems and weapon technology. He added that teamwork within the force and cooperation with other branches of the military help ensure quick and effective responses against any threat.
He congratulated the cadets, their families, and the academy staff, urging the new officers to uphold the highest standards of courage, discipline and service to the nation as they begin their careers in the Pakistan Air Force.
