Saudi authorities have announced revised timings and procedures for visiting the sacred Roza-e-Rasool in Al Masjid-e-Nabawi. The new system aims to manage crowds and ensure a smooth experience for worshippers wishing to offer nawafil prayers at Riazul Jannah.
Entry will now be regulated through the Nusuk platform, with visitors required to obtain permits online. Bookings are generally allowed once a year, while the “Instant Track” option is available for those already near the mosque.
Access to the Prophet’s tomb is designated through the southern courtyards near Makkah Gate 37. Elderly visitors can now use manual wheelchairs to ease their movement inside the mosque. Men and women have separate visiting schedules to maintain order and comfort.
For male visitors, regular day timings are set from 2:00am until Fajr, and again from 11:20am to Isha. On Fridays, men will have three visiting slots: early morning before Fajr, mid-morning from 9:20am to 11:20am, and after the Jummah prayer until Isha.
Women can visit after Fajr until 11:00am and during the night from after Isha until 2:00am. On Fridays, women will also have a morning slot from after Fajr until 9:00am, in addition to the usual night timings.
The updated schedule reflects Saudi Arabia’s efforts to provide a safe, organized and spiritual environment for all worshippers visiting one of Islam’s holiest sites. Authorities have urged visitors to follow the Nusuk platform instructions and respect the designated timings for a seamless experience.
