Ramzan Office Hours Officially Announced in Pakistan

In preparation for the holy month of Ramadan, the Federal Constitutional Court has introduced special working hours for its offices across the country. The revised schedule will apply to court offices located in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, and Quetta.

According to the official announcement, the new office hours are designed to accommodate the spiritual and daily routines observed during Ramadan. From Monday to Thursday, court offices will open at 9:00 in the morning and close at 2:00 in the afternoon. On Fridays and Saturdays, operations will conclude earlier, with offices closing at 12:30 PM.

Court authorities have also clarified that no new cases will be received during the final hour before closing time. However, matters considered highly urgent or emergency in nature may still be entertained during that period.

This measure aims to ensure smooth workflow and timely processing of important cases while respecting the shortened schedule.

The adjusted timings will remain in place throughout the entire month of Ramadan. Once the holy month concludes, regular office hours are expected to resume.

Officials stated that these changes are meant to provide convenience for both court staff and visitors while maintaining uninterrupted judicial services. The announcement has been welcomed as a thoughtful step to balance professional responsibilities with religious observance during Ramadan.
