Are you Student? PM Youth Free Laptop Announced for Students; Here’s How to Apply!

The Government of Pakistan has announced a new phase of the Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme, bringing fresh opportunities for students across the country. The updated program aims to support education by providing free laptops to deserving students and promoting digital learning nationwide.

Who Can Apply?

Under the revised guidelines, only students currently enrolled in public sector institutions or universities recognized by HEC are eligible. The scheme covers students studying in BS, Master’s, MPhil, and PhD programs. By expanding eligibility to various higher education levels, the initiative seeks to include a wider group of learners.

Fair and Transparent Selection Process

Officials have introduced new measures to ensure fairness. Selection will not be based only on academic marks. Other factors, including verified domicile and defined criteria set by authorities, will also be considered. The goal is to create a transparent system that gives equal opportunity to students from different regions.

How to Apply

Students must first confirm their enrollment at their respective university or college. After that, they need to submit an application through the official scheme website. Applicants should provide accurate academic records and valid identification documents. Once applications are reviewed, a merit list will be released, and selected students will receive their laptops.

The government believes this initiative will improve access to technology, enhance research and learning, and raise overall education standards. By equipping students with modern digital tools, the scheme aims to prepare young people for future academic and professional challenges.
