Explo*ion Heard in Tehran After Apparent St*ike Near Iran’s Supreme Leader’s Offices

Explosions were heard in Tehran today after reports that Israel launched military strikes on the Iranian capital.

Iranian media confirmed a powerful blast in the city, saying the explosions occurred near major government buildings, including the offices of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and possibly the presidential complex.

Witnesses in downtown Tehran reported hearing loud booms and seeing smoke rising above the city. Iranian authorities have not immediately provided details about casualties or damage.

It is unclear whether any high‑level officials were present at the targeted locations at the time of the strikes.

Israeli officials said their forces carried out a pre‑emptive attack on multiple sites in Tehran, claiming the strikes were aimed at eliminating perceived threats. Alerts were also issued in Israel, warning citizens to prepare for possible missile retaliation.

In response to the strikes, Iran reportedly restricted movement in parts of the capital and shut down its airspace.

The situation is still developing as authorities work to assess the damage and maintain security. International observers are closely monitoring the events, concerned about the risk of further escalation in the region.
