Ir@n Says it will Target ‘Bank and Economics Centres’ in the Region

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a strong warning that economic centres and financial institutions linked to the United States and Israel in the region could become potential targets following recent attacks on Iranian banks. The warning comes as the ongoing conflict has entered its 12th day, with tensions continuing to rise across the Middle East. Iranian officials say the threats are a response to what they describe as coordinated strikes on the country’s financial infrastructure.

In its statement, the IRGC also named several major international technology companies, including Google, Microsoft, Palantir, IBM, Nvidia, and Oracle, claiming that offices and infrastructure associated with these firms could be considered legitimate targets because their technologies are allegedly being used for military purposes.

The situation remains tense as reports of explosions in Tehran and attacks in Lebanon continue to emerge. Iranian authorities claim that more than 1,300 civilians have been killed and nearly 10,000 locations have been hit during the course of the conflict. Officials have urged civilians to avoid areas near banks and sensitive facilities, while also warning that the United States should be prepared for what they described as “painful responses” if the confrontation continues to escalate.
