JazzCash, Pakistan’s leading digital financial services platform, in partnership with the Punjab Social Protection Authority (PSPA), Government of Punjab, has begun disbursing financial assistance under the “Maryam Ko Batain” Program, a social protection initiative designed to support vulnerable households across the province.

Under the program, eligible individuals will receive PKR 10,000 in financial assistance. Citizens can register their requests through the designated government helpline or mobile application, after which each case is verified by the relevant authorities before funds are disbursed

Following verification, JazzCash facilitates secure digital transfers directly to beneficiaries within the government-mandated 24-hour turnaround time, ensuring funds reach recipients quickly and transparently.

Since the launch of the program, JazzCash has already disbursed financial assistance to more than 35,000 beneficiaries, positively impacting over 300,000 lives across Punjab by helping families access timely financial support when it is needed most.

This partnership reinforces JazzCash’s role as a trusted digital financial infrastructure partner for large-scale public disbursement programs, enabling governments to deliver welfare assistance efficiently through secure and transparent digital channels.

Commenting on the development, Arif Chaudary, Head of Public Sector Partnerships at JazzCash, said:

“Digital platforms are transforming how governments deliver social protection. Through our partnership with the Punjab Social Protection Authority, JazzCash is helping ensure that financial assistance reaches citizens quickly, securely, and with dignity. This is a powerful example of how digital payments infrastructure can strengthen transparency and expand access to essential support.”

The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to strengthening social protection delivery through digital innovation, reducing friction in public fund distribution while expanding access to secure financial services for communities across Punjab.
