Kia Pakistan Makes Bold Announcement for Buyers “No Hi-Octane Fuel Needed for Vehicles”

Kia has issued an important clarification for its customers in Pakistan following the recent surge in hi-octane fuel prices, which has raised concerns among vehicle owners about fuel requirements and operating costs. The company addressed the matter to clear misconceptions and guide users toward more cost-effective and appropriate fuel choices.

According to the automaker, its vehicles available in the local market are not dependent on hi-octane petrol for optimal performance. Instead, they are specifically engineered to operate efficiently on regular unleaded fuel with a minimum Research Octane Number (RON) of 91. Kia further emphasized that commonly available RON 92 petrol in Pakistan is fully suitable for its vehicles and does not negatively affect engine performance, durability, or overall reliability.

The company also urged customers to remain cautious about fuel quality, advising them to avoid adulterated or substandard fuel that could potentially harm engine components over time. Drivers have been encouraged to refuel only from reliable and reputable stations to ensure consistent fuel quality and maintain vehicle health.

This clarification comes as part of Kia’s broader effort to support its customers during a period of rising fuel costs, reassuring them that there is no need to incur additional expenses on hi-octane fuel. By addressing these concerns, the company aims to provide clarity, reduce confusion in the market, and help consumers make informed decisions regarding vehicle maintenance and fuel usage.
