School Vans Get Strict Order After Petrol Price Hike

Murad Ali Shah has announced that school van fares will not be increased anywhere in the province. He has clearly instructed both public and private schools to keep their current pick-and-drop charges the same, even though fuel prices have gone up. This decision aims to protect parents from additional financial burden.

The School Education Department Sindh has also issued an official notice to make sure this rule is followed.

Schools have been warned that strict legal action will be taken if they increase transport fees. In addition, all schools are required to provide complete details of their transport services to the authorities for proper monitoring.

To support transport operators facing higher fuel costs, the government has said it will introduce relief measures. These steps are meant to balance the situation so that drivers and school management do not suffer losses while parents are also protected from extra charges.

In a separate announcement, Murad Ali Shah shared that the government will provide a petrol subsidy of Rs2,000 to registered motorcycle owners. This initiative is aimed at helping people manage rising fuel expenses.

He also mentioned that office hours for vehicle transfer services will be extended to make the process easier for citizens.

At the same time, discussions are ongoing regarding market timings to improve daily operations. These combined efforts reflect the government’s focus on providing relief and improving public services.
