To better understand how Lahore’s schools compare, a detailed survey was conducted across 20 prominent institutions, measuring the presence of academic programs, sports infrastructure, and laboratory facilities. This survey substantially covers the aspects related to infrastructure but is in no way a measure of these institutions’ external examination results.
The findings offer one of the most comprehensive snapshots of school infrastructure in the city, highlighting both strengths and gaps in the current education landscape.
How the Survey Was Conducted
The study evaluated schools according to their excellence in Three essential categories .
1. Academic Infrastructure
Schools were assessed on the availability of:
- International curriculum affiliations
- STEM and robotics programs
- Digital classrooms and ICT integration
- Foreign language programs
- Visual and performing arts education
- Learning resources and libraries
2. Sports & Co-Curricular Opportunities
The sports checklist examined availability of:
- Football, cricket, basketball and swimming
- Tennis and badminton
- Gym facilities
- Indoor games such as chess and table tennis
- Adventure or niche sports like archery and horse riding
3. Labs and Learning Aids
Schools were also evaluated for:
