Pakistan Becomes First Country To Hold Military Exercises With Three Nations In A Week

The Pakistan Army has conducted a special counterterrorism training exercise with the armed forces of Sri Lanka. The exercise focused on improving cooperation, coordination, and skills in dealing with security threats and terrorism-related situations.

Officials said the joint drill is part of efforts to strengthen defence ties between the two countries. It also provided an opportunity for both sides to share experience, improve training methods, and learn from each other’s operational practices.

The exercise included various counterterrorism scenarios designed to test response time, planning, and teamwork in challenging conditions.

Military personnel from both countries participated in training activities that aimed to improve readiness and effectiveness in real-world situations.

With this development, Pakistan has reportedly expanded its defence engagement with multiple countries in a short period of time. Within a single week, it has held military exercises with three different nations, including Türkiye, Egypt, and Sri Lanka.

Security experts say this level of engagement reflects growing regional cooperation and a focus on joint training to address shared security challenges. Such exercises are often used to build trust, improve communication, and enhance coordination between armed forces.

Officials believe that these collaborations help strengthen operational readiness and promote stability in the region. They also provide a platform for exchanging modern military techniques and improving professional standards.
