In a shocking incident, an officer from the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) in Faisalabad was caught red-handed while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs. 1 lakh. The recovery was made during a raid by relevant authorities, exposing deep concerns about honesty inside the department that is supposed to fight corruption.
The official, who was responsible for investigating and preventing corrupt practices, is now under investigation himself.
