Director General ISPR issued a strong warning against those using inappropriate language about Karachi, saying the city and its people deserve respect and dignity. He stated that Karachi is the economic backbone of Pakistan and home to millions of patriotic citizens who have always stood by the country during difficult times. According to him, any attempt to insult or undermine the city would not be tolerated by its residents, who are deeply protective of Karachi’s identity and honor.
The DG ISPR further remarked that Karachi’s people have repeatedly demonstrated resilience, unity, and loyalty to Pakistan despite numerous challenges over the years. He emphasized that anyone speaking negatively about the city should understand the emotions and sentiments attached to it. He added that the people of Karachi are fully capable of responding strongly to those who disrespect their city, while reaffirming the importance of national unity and mutual respect among all Pakistanis.
