“Kashmir is Meant to Be Part of Pakistan; Its Six Rivers Belong to Pakistan,” DG ISPR

Director General ISPR stated that Kashmir is an integral part of Pakistan, emphasizing that the region’s historical, geographical, and cultural ties are deeply connected with the country. He said the people of Kashmir have long shared strong emotional and ideological bonds with Pakistan and continue to struggle for their right to self-determination. According to him, Pakistan will continue to extend diplomatic, political, and moral support to the Kashmiri people on every international platform.

The DG ISPR also highlighted the importance of the six rivers linked to the Kashmir region, saying they are vital for Pakistan’s agriculture, economy, and water security. He stressed that these rivers are a lifeline for millions of Pakistanis and reaffirmed that the country would safeguard its water interests at all costs. He further stated that Pakistan remains committed to peace and regional stability while standing firm on its position regarding Kashmir.
