Passengers on an AirSial flight traveling from Karachi to Islamabad faced a frightening situation when the aircraft encountered severe turbulence due to bad weather.
According to reports, the turbulence lasted for around 30 minutes and caused panic among passengers onboard. Many people felt scared as the plane shook heavily during the stormy conditions. The situation created anxiety inside the cabin as passengers waited for the weather to stabilize.
Due to the difficult weather conditions, the flight was later diverted and safely landed at Sialkot Airport. Although the landing was safe, fear among passengers continued even after the aircraft touched down.
Some passengers reportedly refused to continue their journey after landing, saying they were not confident about further travel due to safety concerns. There were also reports that passengers were not allowed to leave the aircraft immediately after landing, which led to frustration and heated arguments between passengers and airline staff.
Eyewitnesses said the disagreement inside the plane continued for some time as passengers demanded clearer information and better handling of the situation. Many travelers expressed concern over how the incident was managed after the diversion.
The airline has not yet issued a detailed official statement explaining the incident or addressing the complaints raised by passengers.
Authorities are expected to look into the matter following the public concerns and complaints shared by passengers. Aviation regulators may review the flight’s handling, safety procedures, and communication with passengers during and after the turbulence.
The incident has raised questions about passenger communication and in-flight safety management during severe weather conditions. Officials are likely to assess whether standard safety protocols were properly followed during the emergency diversion.
