The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has launched a fully digital and paperless degree attestation system aimed at making the verification process faster, easier, and more accessible for students and graduates across the country.
Under the new system, applicants can now submit attestation requests online at any time through the HEC e-Services portal without the need to visit HEC offices or provide physical copies of documents. Universities will directly verify academic credentials through an integrated online mechanism, ensuring greater transparency and efficiency in the process.
Once the verification is completed and approved, applicants will receive a digitally issued e-attestation certificate, eliminating lengthy paperwork and reducing delays. The updated system also supports online fee payments through 1-Link, while applicants will stay informed about every stage of their application through SMS and email notifications.
HEC says the initiative is designed to save time, lower costs, and remove unnecessary difficulties for students and graduates seeking attestation of academic documents. The move is also expected to strengthen the security and reliability of document verification nationwide by shifting the entire process to a modern digital platform.
