Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar Awarded Sitara-e-Imtiaz for Maintaining Law and Order and Eliminating Dacoit Networks in Sindh

Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar has been conferred with the Sitara-e-Imtiaz, one of Pakistan’s high civilian honors, in recognition of his services in strengthening law and order across the province.

The award acknowledges his continued efforts to improve the overall security situation in Sindh, particularly through intensified operations against dacoit networks operating in rural areas and sustained action against drug trafficking networks. Under his supervision, law enforcement initiatives have been aimed at restoring stability, reducing organized crime, and enhancing public safety in both urban and interior regions of the province.

His contribution is being viewed as part of broader provincial efforts to reinforce institutional performance and ensure safer communities, with officials highlighting improvements in coordinated policing strategies and targeted crackdowns on criminal elements.
