Sheikh Ali Al-Hudhaifi to Deliver 2026 Hajj Sermon

The Arafat Sermon for Hajj 2026 will take place on May 26, 2026, which corresponds to 9 Dhul Hijjah 1447 AH. The sermon will be delivered by Sheikh Ali Bin Abdul Rahman Al-Hudhaify from Masjid Namirah in Arafat.

Officials say the sermon will be made available to millions of pilgrims around the world through advanced translation services. It will be broadcast in more than 30 languages, with plans to increase the number of languages in the future.

For the first time, pilgrims will be able to access real-time translation using QR codes. These codes will provide both audio and text translations, making it easier for people from different countries to understand the message instantly.

The initiative aims to spread the teachings of Islam, focusing on unity, peace, and tolerance among Muslims worldwide. Authorities believe this step will help connect pilgrims from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds during the Hajj experience.

Sheikh Al-Hudhaify, who will deliver the sermon, is the Imam of Masjid an-Nabawi. He has a respected academic and religious background and has previously served in leading positions at major mosques in Saudi Arabia.

Officials say the use of modern technology in Hajj services reflects Saudi Arabia’s efforts to improve communication and accessibility for pilgrims. The goal is to ensure that the message of the Arafat sermon reaches everyone clearly, regardless of language barriers.
